OTTAWA--April 17, 2006--According to a study from InfoTrends Research, more than 50 percent of digital camera owners have no plan for dealing with the photos sitting on their hard drives. With imaging research firm Lyra Research predicting that nearly 500 million digital images will be saved on hard drives by 2009, it's easy to see why most consumers are confused, and how the allure of digital photography can be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of photos on the home PC.
