Pentacon announces Luxmedia 10 X-3, 6203, and DCZ 6.3
Filed under: Digital Cameras
Pentacon's announced three new cameras in their Praktica series: the Luxmedia 10 X-3, the Luxmedia 6203 and the DCZ 6.3. The 10 X-3 (shown here) is the top-of-the-line model, coming in with 10 megapixels, a 3X optical zoom, a 2.4-inch TFT display, and 32MB of built-in memory. The Luxmedia 6203 and DSZ 6.3 are similar in specs but different in design -- both being 6 megapixel cameras with 3X optical zooms. The DSZ has 32MB of internal memory, while the 6203 knocks that down to 16MB. All three cameras use SD cards for additional storage. If these cameras look a little familar you shouldn't be suprised -- they're released in various rebranded versions around the world from Rollei and other companies.
